KUVARJI
Vocalist & Musician Kuvarji
A voice that is soulful and has many layers as such, her broad range extends from soft melodies and sweet harmonies to a huge power belt. This along with her jovial stage manner leaves on-listeners gasping for more!
After finding her voice at the tender age of 12, having had a skin graft on her inner ear a year earlier, Kuvarji performed in her first ticketed concert at 15 and has evolved into a versatile entertainer.
Kuvarji portrays a uniquely genuine, down to earth style which she attributes to humble beginnings and values instilled by her grandmother, by whom she was raised. She also takes inspiration from the many musical influences throughout her whanau and acknowledges her Mothers support to send her on the right track to be educated in her craft at 15, this was instrumental to her professional and personal growth.
Kuvarji has a 'know who you are, be who you are' philosophy which she has demonstrated consistently throughout her journey as a mother, musician and vocalist.
